Ver/Editar el contenido de un fichero binario desde la terminal

Ya hable hace tiempo de diferentes editores hexadecimales que podiamos usar en modo grafico. Pero a veces te encuentras con la necesidad de tener que conectar con una maquina remota que no tiene disponible un entorno grafico. No problem. Para ver el contenido hexadecimal del fichero podemos usar «hexdump» para editarlo «hexedit».

Para instalar hexedit:

$ sudo apt-get install hexedit

Como parametro (en ambos) pasamos el nombre del fichero a ver/editar.

Ejemplo de volcado hexadecimal:

$ hexdump -C «nombre del fichero binario a examinar»
